Woo Hoo!!!! He's finished!!

Okay, I am going to be a little unbearable! I am so excited, he's finished! Before Christmas!!! I was beginning to have a few doubts, not really, but a little. When I finished him last night, my sweetheart walks up to me in my stitching chair and says, "too bad he isn't a little bigger". Needless to say, I glared at him and reminded him how long I have been working on this guy. I actually went to my LNS on Saturday to look for the perfect frame. Found one! So this Saturday I am headed back to Littleton to drop him off for framing. Wow, I am soooo happy!
You know what this means right? New PROJECT! I love starting new projects. The only real problem is I have something of a stash, more like an entire store to choose from. The DH wants me to consider another Santa but I think I want to do something completely different and take a break from holiday stitching.
I recently discovered I have purchased two copies of The Houses of Hawks Run Hollow. If anyone out there would like a copy, please let me know. I would be glad to send you one.
This Thursday night the husband and I are having adult night out. Here in Parker there is a museum called The Wildlife Experience. Besides the typical natural history sort of stuff, they offer a mirad of activities for adults. One of our favorites is Martini and a Movie night. After the museum closes to the public, participants are treated to finger foods and martinis. For those who aren't fond of the cocktail, there is also a cash bar serving beer. Then around 7:30, we all head into the IMAX theater for a movie. The movies this season have been great! Ranging from the classic "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" to "Princess Bride", there has been something for everyone. Thursday the movie is "Jaws". It will also be the end of the season. It's always nice when we get to be an us instead of a we. Even if it's only for a couple of hours.
Well, I think that's it for this one. Let me know if someone out there wants the extra copy of HHRH. Util next time, TTFN!
