A wonderful Sunday

Hi there! I wanted to share my great Sunday with you. Today was the Rite of Election for Candidates and Catecumenates for the Catholic Church. I was able to spend the better part of the day with my sponsor, my husband's Aunt Peg. Aunt Peg is one of those people you wish the world was filled with. (guaranteed the world would be a better place). The morning started off snowy and grey but by the afternoon, the sun was out and it was a gorgeous Colorado day! We attended mass together at my parish church and then traveled down to the cathedral in Colorado Springs for a special mass. The photo is of one of the stunning stained glass windows in the cathedral.  The sunlight just illuminated the glass so that the whole interior of the church just glowed with a sort of radiant rainbow of color!
I am sorry to say I have nothing to show as far as new stitching.  I didn't even open the door to the sewing room this past week. I am hopeful that will happen this week. I think, knock on wood, that our schedule will allow for it....maybe:)
I hope all of you have a great Monday and if you have an Aunt Peg in your world, give them a hug! Until next time, TTFN!
