A Lark for Santa's hand

Hi there! I hope this posting finds everyone recovered from Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas:) Tonight it is freezing here, currently about 10 degrees outside. I mean Baby its cold outside:)
I decided to get back to finishing things before I started a new one. I've brought out the Rocky Mountain Santa to finish. Tonight, I filled in the lark bunting. It went very quickly but boy the threads pack in in a hurry. I have a class tomorrow night so I won't start the fur trim until Wednesday. I am off on Wednesday so I am planning a full day of stitching. I still haven't found anyone who can finish it for me but I do have a lead I need to call about.
I have decided this year to try to simplify our Christmas. My hubby has a very large family and every year we buy gifts for all of them, last count was 40! This year I am committed to something different. I haven't yet nailed it down, but I really want to make things less money oriented. I was thinking about purchasing bottles of wine with a stitched ornament around the top to give everyone. But, I 'm not sure yet and if anyone has a suggestion out there I would just love to hear them!
Well I'm going to cut this short because I will plan on a post on Wednesday night. Until then, TTFN!

  2. I just love your Santa!!! I've always wanted to stitch one of her designs but haven't yet. I just love yours.

Don't have any ideas for you for Christmas. Wish I did because I always hate the expense of all the family presents.
