Oh so close!

Well hello everyone! I was really hoping to show you a finished sampler today, but alas, ugg and oh no! Not quite there. Oh well ,right? Almost and oh so close. Next weekend will show a completed project:)
This last week our beautiful state of Colorado was blessed with an abundance of rain and great gobs of snow. At my place we had 18 inches of super saturated spring snow. I know that the moisture is a blessing for our famer neighbors but for those of us who commute into town for our employers, ugg! Not so fun!
I was also hoping to share an exciting bit of news but that too has been delayed. Hopefully only by a week or so. I have taken such encouragement from the various blogs I read that I have made a commitment to myself, to take charge of somethings in my world and change them for the better. I am happy to report that I am back to working out three times a week and that has really helped me start to manage my stress. I am also in the process of tracking down college transcripts ( yikes! has it really been 24 years...) to try to head back to school and into a career that I love. To those of you out there who are heading back to school, changing careers, and are still stitching even if it's only for a few minutes each week, Thank You for writing it down. You may not realize it but there are people like me who read your words and take to heart what you are saying. A while back I read a post about the movie Julie and Julia. I sat down Thursday night and watched that movie, wow! I can so relate. Again, thank you. I have gotten away from watching movies and forgot how much I enjoy a good story. It once again drove home how much time over the last two years I have been spending working at home on a laptop, into the late hours of the night. Well I think you have probably had enough of my gushing at this point so I shall wrap this up by saying TTFN! Finished sampler next weekend!
